Indiana family law attorney Audrey Lunsford joins the Law Office of Mark Nicholson in an expanded role

INDIANAPOLIS, IN: February 14, 2023 — The Law Office of Mark Nicholson is pleased to announce the appointment of Attorney Audrey Lunsford as Junior Partner. Lunsford brings over a decade of legal experience and a holistic, client-centered approach. She has been Of Counsel to the firm since 2022. 


Throughout her career, Lunsford has focused on public interest law for various government entities. She holds extensive knowledge in juvenile delinquency proceedings and CHINS (Child in Need of Services) cases in Indiana family court. She has also handled appellate cases for indigent clients in Hendricks County. In her new Junior Partner role with Mark Nicholson, Lunsford will focus on:


  • Family law
  • Criminal law
  • Juvenile law
  • Appellate law
  • Matters of expungement

In her private practice, Lunsford Legal LLCLunsford was devoted to working with agencies that provide legal services access to those in need. As a member of the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, she continues to volunteer her time at various legal aid agencies in the Indianapolis area.

 

“I am excited to play a larger role and help the law firm grow,” says Lunsford. On Feb. 14 she joins an expert legal team that includes managing partner Mark Nicholson, locally nicknamed “The Battery Man,” and Indiana appellate attorney Victoria Casanova, Of Counsel.


Lunsford is currently a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association and American Bar Association. She earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State University in 2006, and went on to graduate from the Honors Program at Valparaiso University School of Law in 2009. When not practicing law, Lunsford enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
